Eclectic Eccentricity Gets All Curious This Saturday!

It's almost time! EE took part in the Norwich Most Curious Wedding Fair back in February and now we're at it again! This time, the Most Curious Party rocks up to London in the very grand venue of York Hall in Bethnal Green. We'll be there along with bundlefuls of other vendors so if you're planning on getting hitched soon (or even if you're not) come on down for what promises to be an amazing day of pretties and fun.

EE at The National Gallery

Tomorrow sees the launch of The National Gallery's 'Turner Inspired: In The Light of Claude' exhibition and to celebrate, we were asked to create an exclusive line of maritime pieces. Cue lots of compasses, ships, telescopes and fun things.

Inspired by a summer of love and a little bit of Free Bird, these statement feather earrings are finished with stunning Turquoise beads. We love them quite a bit. Here they are:

See those lovely darker blue Turquoise chip beads? Those are from the Sleeping Beauty mine in Arizona, USA. (Sounds all romantic, doesn't it?) Romance aside, the Sleeping Beauty mine (so named as the mountain resembles a sleeping lady) is world renowned for the quality and colour of it's Turquoise. It's not enhanced, dyed or otherwise altered, the colour you see is completely natural and just amazing. Want to know a bit more about where the Turquoise has come from? Read on...

The Sleeping Beauty mine is located in Globe, Arizona, USA. Originally it was mined for gold and copper, but for over a decade it has been mining for Turquoise. Want to know what a Turquoise mine looks like? It looks a little like this...

Magic Moments

We're a little excited about our newest necklace which has just launched. Meet Magic Moments!

Stunning Quartz points have been wire wrapped into pendants and sit alongside a cream rose and two small glass pearls (pearls of wisdom, of course.) Hung from a 24" vintage silver plated chain.

HOW TO USE YOUR PENDULUM!

Simply hold the chain in your dominant hand (the one you write with) with the point of the crystal held a few inches above the palm of your other hand. Firstly, you need to decide your yes/ no responses so ask your pendulum a question to which you know the answer - most pendulums will move clockwise for yes and anti clockwise for no. When you're in tune with your pendulum, you're ready to start asking the serious stuff! (Like should you get a slice of chocolate cake for lunch.) Life will never be the same again.
